Garber, Marion

Marion Garber, 85, of Goshen, died Monday, February 4, 2019, at The Maples Healthcare at Waterford Crossing.
He was born February 28, 1933 in Goshen to Earl and Bertha (Kaufman) Garber.
On June 29, 1952 he married Phyllis Ramer. She died August 20, 1997. On October 30, 1998 he married Florence (Martin) Mullet.
She survives along with four children, Gary (Barb) Garber of New Paris, Chuck (Mary) Garber of Hamilton, Montana, Pam (Keith) Hooley of LaGrange and Greg (Charlene) Garber of Winona Lake; two step-children, Wanda (Jerry) Donahue of Rensselaer and Jamie (Jackie) Mullet of New Paris; 12 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents and first wife, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Garber and siblings, Maurice, Robert and Lamar Garber, Betty Betzelberger and Donnabelle Hoover.
Marion will be remembered as a wonderful father and husband. For the past nine years he had been attending Sugar Grove Church.
The owner and operator of Garber Electric, Mr. Garber was very involved in Men for Missions International, serving on the board and participating in many mission trips.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 6, 2019, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. An 11 a.m., Thursday, February 7, memorial service will be conducted at Sugar Grove Church. Nephew Pastor Craig Garber will officiate.
A private family graveside service will be conducted at Yellow Creek Cemetery.

Garman, Edwin H., 75 of 247 Bridgeville Road, East Earl, died Friday, December 20, 2019 at his home after a lengthy illness.
Born in Caernarvon Twp., he was a son of the late Noah S. and Emma W. (Hoover) Garman. He was married 51 years on Feb. 22 to Esther R. (Zimmerman) Garman.
Edwin was a dairy farmer and a member of Churchtown Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference.
Surviving in addition to his wife are seven children, Lamar, married to Alice (Martin) Garman of Willard, OH, Curvin, married to Mary (Ringler) Garman of Penn Yan, NY, Alson, married to Lois (Sensenig) Garman of Penn Yan, NY, Vernon Garman of East Earl, Bryan, married to Joan (Zimmerman) Garman of East Earl, Glenn, married to Louann (Zimmerman) Garman of Hopkinsville, KY, and Karen, married to Leonard Shirk of Greenwood, WI; 46 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; nine brothers and sisters, Harry, married to Mary Ann (Martin) Garman of Narvon, Allen, married to Miriam (Horst) Garman of Woodbury, Titus, married to Lois (Martin) Garman of Martinsburg, Leroy, married to Janet (Martin) Garman of Martinsburg, Esther, married to Frank Hoover of New Holland, Anna, married to Paul Nolt of Martinsburg, Martha, married to Amos Martin of New Holland, Mary, married to Irvin Horst of East Earl, and Erma, married to Harold Martin of Greenwich, OH; a sister-in-law, Suetta (Nolt) Garman of Martinsburg; and a brother-in-law, Noah, married to Emma Mae Newswanger of Stanley, WI.
Preceding him in death is a brother, Paul Garman; and a sister, Ella Newswanger.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 24 at 9 am at the late home with further services at 9:30 am at Churchtown Mennonite Church with the Bishop Elam Zimmerman officiating. Gehman, Anthea Lynn
April 28, 1992-March 23, 2019
Anthea Lynn Gehman, 26, of Mohnton, died March 23, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with her health.
She was born on April 28, 1992 in Ephrata to Ronald E. and Norma J. (Byler) Gehman, with whom she resided.
She is survived by her parents, two sisters, a brother, and grandparents: Ronalda J. married to Raymond J. Bauman, Denver, Kathy H. and Roman E. both at home, paternal grandparents Earl and Helen Gehman, Mohnton and Roman and Susie Byler, Pine Grove.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia K. Gehman. She was a member of the Centerville Mennonite Church, Ephrata, PA.
The viewing will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. at Living Hope Christian Fellowship, 1488 Reading Rd., Mohnton. Her funeral will be held on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Centerville Mennonite Church, 201 Sensenig Rd., Ephrata. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.

Gehman, Harley B., 96, of Souderton, Montgomery Co., PA died January 28, 2019 at the same place. He was born November 25, 1922 at Line Lexington, Bucks Co., PA to Allen W. and Alice (Beideman) Gehman. On March 4, 1944 he was married to Anna D. Kulp, who was born June 19, 1922 and died September 30, 2018.
Surviving are children, Marilyn Zook and husband Dave; Louise O'Connell and husband Jim; and Elaine Gehman; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
A son, Allen Gehman and a sister, Edith Moyer preceded him in death.
Memorial services were held February 2, 2019 at Souderton Mennonite Homes, Souderton, PA with burial in Salford Mennonite Church Cemetery, Harleysville, Montgomery Co., PA.
Gerber, Jerry Joe, 73, of Charlevoix, died Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at the Georgia House. He was born May 14, 1945, to Aaron and Emma (Weaver) Gerber in Fairview, MI.
During his lifetime he was employed in many occupations, a few of which included carpenter, shoe repairman, maintenance at Ausable Valley Nursing Home, meatman at Troyers Meat Market, woodworker at Brumm’s Showroom, and greeter at Walmart.He took an active part in Grace Fellowship Mennonite Church where he was a member for many years.
He is survived by his wife Laureen (Schrock); two daughters, Serena Gerber and Sovina Gerber, Charlevoix; one son, Samuel Gerber, Charlevoix; four sisters, Betty (Norm) Zimmerman, Mechanicsburg, PA, Sarah (Melvin) Bitikofer, Salem, OR, Nancy (Nelson) Troyer, South Boardman, MI, and Ruth (Doug) Miller, Fairview, MI; and one brother Harry (Carolyn) Gerber, Fairview, MI.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will take place Friday, January 4, from 6-8 p.m. at the Winchester Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
Funeral Services will take place Saturday, January 5 at 11 a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, 11906 Old US Highway 31 N, Charlevoix. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10 a.m.

Gingerich, Edna E. Troyer
February 12, 1927 - April 29, 2019
Edna E. Gingerich, 92, of Goshen died Monday, April 29 at home.
She was born February 12, 1927 in LaGrange County to Ezra and Mary (Miller) Troyer.
On April 7, 1946 she married Raymond Gingerich in Middlebury. They remained married for almost 62 years prior to his death March 15, 2008.
Survivors include four daughters, Eloise Gingerich of Goshen, Shirley (Donald) Nunemaker of Wakarusa, Beverly Sutton of Maricopa, Arizona and Mary Jo (George) Rink of Goshen; three sons, Wayne (Joan) Gingerich of Hudson, Ronald (Kathy) Gingerich of Wolcottville and Gene (Kim) Gingerich of Goshen; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Marion (Dorothy) Troyer of Goshen and Mervin (June) Troyer of Millersburg.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kari Nunemaker; a sister, Gladys Christner; three brothers, Melvin, Omer and Elmer Troyer; sons-in-law, Joseph Feyas and Clarence Sutton; and a great-grandson, Henry Engleberth.
Mrs. Gingerich was a loving homemaker and member of Mount Joy Mennonite Church, Goshen. She taught Sunday school and Bible school for many years and enjoyed singing with the “Harmony Singers” women’s choir from area churches.
Edna was an accomplished baker, decorating countless cakes for birthdays, weddings and special occasions. She created quilts and crocheted hats for newborn babies. She also volunteered her time with the M.C.C. Relief Sale, serving on food committees and with Wycliffe Associates.
Visitation will be Friday, May 3, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, 1911 S. Main St., Goshen. There will also be an hour of visitation Saturday, May 4, 2019 prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service at Mt. Joy Mennonite Church, 120 N. 23rd Street, Goshen. Pastors Ben Shirk and Nelson Yoder will officiate.
Burial will follow at Miller 8 Square Cemetery, Goshen.

Gingerich, Ervin
Dec. 4, 1939 - Sept. 29, 2019
Ervin Gingerich, 79, of Goshen, died early Sunday morning, September 29, 2019 at Elkhart Hospice House.
He was born December 4, 1939 in Arthur, Illinois to Edward and Millie (Mast) Gingerich
On August 27, 1960 he married Elsie Yoder in Arthur, Illinois.
She survives along with three children, Roger (Susan) Gingerich of Pompano Beach, Florida, Dave Gingerich of Elkhart and Lynda (Randy Turney) Gingerich of Eugene, Oregon; five grandchildren, Lauren, Justin, Melanie (Caine) and Staci; a great-grandson, Lincoln and four siblings, Edna Mae (Andy) Miller and Adlia (Irene) Gingerich, both of Arcola, Illinois, Dorothy (William) Otto of Sullivan, Illinois and Viola Jess of Arthur, Illinois.
An area resident since 1963, after serving his 1W in Indianapolis, Mr. Gingerich was an excavator, truck driver, land developer and small business owner. He was a member of Belmont Mennonite Church for 25 years and is currently a member of Clinton Frame Church. He was a faithful volunteer with Gideons International, Water for Life Haiti and was assistant chaplain for Elkhart County Jail.
Ervin earned an associate’s degree from Christ for the Nations in Dallas, Texas, and used those skills in his mission work and as an assistant chaplain at Elkhart County Jail.
Family and friends were an important part of Ervin’s life. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with family, especially three recent trips with his siblings and their spouses. Coffee time with friends at Martin’s and Tony’s were an important part of his routine. He enjoyed camping time spent at Little Eden Camp in Michigan.
Ervin was recently featured in the September 2019 Senior Life Magazine.
Visitation will be Friday, October 4, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at Clinton Frame Church where a 10:30 a.m., Saturday funeral service will be conducted.
Burial will follow in Clinton Frame Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Gideons International or Water for Life Haiti.
Gingerich, Ireta June, 97, of Kalona died December 30, 2019 at the same place. She was born June 1, 1922 at Kalona, Washington Co., IA to Omer and Ollie (Miller) Gingerich.
Infant sister, Lois Gingerich; and brother, Burdett Gingerich preceded her in death.
Memorial services were held January 6, 2020 at Yoder-Powell Funeral Home, Kalona, IA with burial in South Gingerich Cemetery, Kalona, Washington Co., IA.

KALONA - Ireta June Gingerich was born June 1, 1922 in Kalona, Iowa, the daughter of Omer and Ollie (Miller) Gingerich. She has lived in the Kalona community all of her life. June attended Snake Hollow rural school and graduated from Kalona High School. She was a Certified Dental Assistant and worked at the University of Iowa Dental College for 25 years, retiring in 1987. June was a charter member of Kalona Mennonite Church where she taught Sunday School and Bible School. June was a key player of a few women who entertained many groups with singing and comedy through the years. She was a charter member of the Kalona Lioness Club. June served on the Care Review Board and volunteered her time at the Pleasantview Home. June died on Monday, December 30, 2019 at the Pleasantview Home in Kalona at the age of 97 years.
June has no immediate family. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister Lois Gingerich, and a brother Burdett Gingerich.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 6, 2020, at the Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona. Rev. Scott Swartzendruber will officiate. Burial will be in the South Gingerich Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 AM on Monday at the Yoder-Powell Funeral Home. A memorial fund has been established for Pleasantview Home and Iowa City Hospice.
Gingrich, Edna W. Sauder

Richland - Edna W. Gingrich, 92, formerly of Myerstown, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019 in the Richland Christian Home, Richland, PA. She was the wife of the late Elias B. Gingrich who died in 2009. She was born in Churchtown, Lancaster County, on May 8, 1927, a daughter of the late Christian W. and Rebecca B. Weaver Sauder. Edna was a member of the Myerstown Mennonite Church.
She is survived by children, Velma Brubaker, wife of the late John of Myerstown; Eugene Gingrich of Lebanon; Elias Gingrich, husband of Beth of Bethel; Merle Gingrich, husband of Pauline of Richland; Linda High, wife of Randall of Myerstown; daughter in law, Debra Gingrich of Bethel; 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Anna Nolt, wife of David of Ephrata; Laura Weaver, wife of Melvin of Ephrata; Dorothy Martin, wife of Irvin of Denver; Arlene Weaver, wife of Edward of New Holland; Minerva Lehman, wife of Jesse of Lebanon; Verna Pruchniewski of Lester, WV; brother, Earl Sauder, husband of Arlene of East Earl.
She was preceded in death by a son, Lester Gingrich; sisters, Esther Sensenig and Rebecca Seibel; brother, Christian Sauder and an infant brother.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 17, 2019 in the Myerstown Mennonite Church, 624 N. College Street, Myerstown, PA. Interment will be made in the adjoining church cemetery. Gingerich, Ian Michael, age 24 of Conestoga, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019 as the result of a vehicle accident. He was born in Bedford, IN, son of Samuel O. and Catherine L. Schnupp Gingerich of Conestoga.
He was a member of Life Mennonite Fellowship of Willow Street. He was in his final semester at Penn State, Harrisburg, finishing his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. He had worked for Mark G. Brubaker, CPA in Elizabethtown. He was also self-employed with his brother installing wood flooring.
He was a true Renaissance man with many different talents, interests and a wide range of knowledge on many subjects. He enjoyed traveling, playing piano, drums, basketball, frisbee, and hanging out with his friends. Surviving besides his parents are 4 siblings: Matthew K., Amy M., Katie L., Trenton K. Gingerich, at home, grandparents: Clair and Clara Durksen Schnupp of Dryden, Ontario.
Funeral service will take place at the Manor Church, 530 Central Manor Road, Lancaster, on Friday, March 1 at 10 a.m. There will be a viewing at Life Mennonite Fellowship, 732 Millwood Road, Willow Street, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

Glick, Albert Junior
April 28, 1938 - June 4, 2019
Albert Junior Glick, 81, of Orrville went to heaven peacefully on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at his home following a long battle with cancer.
He was born in Sugarcreek, OH on April 28, 1938 to the late Albert and Malinda (Mullet) Glick and married Elaine Zook of Pennsylvania on Jan. 1, 1959. They were blessed with 13 children. He graduated from Washington High School in 1956 and he built new homes most of his life. He enjoyed gardening and hunting and after retiring, his mini farm which included raising white tail deer. Albert accepted Christ as his Savior in his youth and remained faithful to the Lord all his life. He was a part of Calvary Christian Fellowship in Orrville.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Elaine; his children, Lorraine (Marvin) Weaver and Loren (Barbara) Glick both of Orrville, Lanette (John) Glick of Massillon, Eldon (Karen) Glick of Carthage, NY, Marilene (James) Atnip of Cody, WY, Nelson (Clara) Glick of Hardin, MT, Joanna (Walter) Zimmerman of Loudonville, Kevin (Marlene) Glick of Dalton, Hiram Glick of Massillon, Lois (Dave) Allison of Strasburg, Joseph (Charlene) Glick of Massillon and Angela (Nathan) Hostetler of Wooster; 89 grandchildren, 78 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Daniel (Helen) Glick and James (Ruth) Glick and 2 sisters, Dena (Avery) Sollenberger and Ruth Anna (Chester) Musser.
He was preceded in death by his son, Nathan Glick, 3 grandchildren, a great-grandchild, 4 brothers, Owen, Jacob, Paul and Earl Glick and 2 sisters, Mattie Grabill and Esther Beegle.
Services will be Monday, June 10th at 10:30 a.m. at Kidron Mennonite Church, 3987 Kidron Rd., Kidron where friends may call Sunday from 1-4 and 5-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Monday. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, North Lawrence. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
Glick, Daniel L., 85, of Bird-In-Hand, passed away at home on Friday, June 7, 2019.
He was married 63 years to Anna Eleanor Dussinger Glick. Born in Smoketown, he was the son of the late David B. and Barbara Smoker Glick.
As a young man Dan worked at Glick's Plant Farm before embarking on a career in real estate. He sold homes for Warren Weaver Inc. and most recently Kingsway Realty, and also worked in sales and construction for Pulte Homes and Desmond Construction. He was a member of the Forest Hills Mennonite Church and chaired the building committee for the construction of their first church. He was past president of the Lancaster County Association of Realtors, past secretary of the Bird-In-Hand Fire Co. and helped acquire the land to build Camp Deerpark in New York, where he served on the board and volunteered for many years. He was a supervisor for Leacock Township where he served 19 years.
Dan retired at the age of 62 to spend time with his family and serve others. In his own quiet way, he touched the lives of many with his kind deeds. Most of all, he enjoyed travelling to his cabin in Mifflin County with his wife and family, and hunting trips with his children and grandchildren.
Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Gary D. husband of Ruth A. Glick of Lancaster, and Dean M. husband of Jeanie S. Glick of Bird-In-Hand; a daughter, Teresa J. Glick of Bird-In-Hand; four grandchildren, Michael husband of Megan Glick of Magnolia, DE, Bryan husband of Nicolle Glick of Boalsburg, Zachary Hummel of Bird-In-Hand, and Jamie Glick of Bird-In-Hand; five great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Madison, Adam, Emily and Daniel Glick; and four sisters, Elsie Kauffman of Bird-In-Hand, Mary Herr of Lancaster, Elma Smucker of Lititz, and Lena Lapp of Lititz. He was preceded in death by a stepgrandson, Justin LeFevre and by a brother, Elmer Glick.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 12, at 11:00 A.M. at the Forest Hills Mennonite Church, 100 Quarry Road, Leola, PA with the Rev. Jon Carlson officiating. The family will greet friends at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service. June 27, 1949 - March 16, 2019
Freeman L. Glick, 69, of Shipshewana, died at 2:25 pm on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Goshen Health Hospital. He was born on June 27, 1949 in Goshen to Dan M. and Mattie (Yoder) Glick. On November 18, 1971 in Topeka he married Nettie M. Lambright, she survives.
Survivors in addition to his wife are two daughters, Anna (Calvin) Yoder of Middlebury, Laura (David) Lambright of LaGrange; four sons, William (Michelle) Glick of Middlebury, John (Dora) Glick of Shipshewana, David (Loretta) Glick of Middlebury, Richard (Richelle) Glick of Wawaka; 34 grandchildren, one great grandson; his mother in Goshen; two sisters, Barbara Ann (Ora) Mast of Middlebury, Sue Ellen (Joe, Jr.) Yoder of LaGrange.
He was preceded in death by his father; a stillborn brother, David Glick; and a granddaughter, Kari Renae Glick.
Freeman had worked in different area factories and a cabinet shop. He was also a farmer and member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Visitation will be after 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 17, 2019 and all day Monday, March 18, 2019 at the Mervin Beechy residence, 7235 W. 250 N. Shipshewana. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the Orville Miller residence, 2070 N. 700 W. Shipshewana. Services will be conducted by Bishop Joe Hochstetler and the home ministers. Burial will be in East Barren Cemetery, Shipshewana.
Glick, Mattie E. Yoder
April 14, 1921 - April 8, 2019
Mattie E. Glick, 97, of Goshen, formerly of Middlebury, died at 6:30 pm on Monday, April 8, at Hope Springs Manor. She was born on April 14, 1921 in Arthur, IL to Elmer L. and Susie (Kauffman) Yoder. On February 22, 1945 in Middlebury she married Dan M. Glick, he died January 22, 1989.
Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Ann (Ora) Mast of Middlebury and Sue Ellen (Joe, Jr.) Yoder of Wolcottville; a daughter-in-law, Nettie Glick of Shipshewana; 22 grandchildren, 99 great-grandchildren, 12 great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Freeman Glick; a stillborn son, David Glick; three great great grandchildren; three sisters, Anna Edwards, Gertie Hagen, Katie Graber; five brothers, Rudy Yoder, Abe Yoder, Noah Yoder, Jake Yoder and Levi Yoder.
Mattie was a homemaker and member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Visitation will be after 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 9, and all day Wednesday, April 10, at the Loren Mast residents, 60755 County Road 43 Middlebury. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am on Thursday, April 11, at the same residence. Services will be conducted by Bishop Faron Lehman and the home ministers. Burial will be in Hawpatch Cemetery, Topeka. Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury is in charge of arrangements.

Melvin R. Glick, 79, Wakarusa, formerly of Indianapolis, died 2:59 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, 2019 at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born Oct. 7, 1939 in Gap, Pennsylvania, to Mahlon R. & Ruth (Kennel) Glick. On Aug. 25, 1961, he married Sherrill (Swartz) Glick.
Surviving are his wife, Sherrill Glick, Wakarusa, 3 children, Mark (Marci) Glick, New York, New York, Starla (Bob) Martinez, Akron, Ohio, Milt (Stacy) Glick, Wakarusa, 6 grandchildren, Matthew R. (Emily) Glick, Levi Glick, Rachel Glick, Caleb Glick, Colin Glick, Caitlyn Glick, 2 siblings, Robert (Anna) Glick, Atmore, Alabama and Mary Ann (John) Hostetter, Los Angeles, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Melvin was Indiana University Professor of Biochemistry at IU Hospitals in Indianapolis for 32 years. He was a member of Holdeman Mennonite Church, where he was very active and was a Sunday School Teacher for many years. Melvin graduated from Eastern Mennonite College with his bachelor’s degree and University of Alabama Birmingham where he received his masters and PHD. He was active in the International Wood Collectors Society and Michiana Gem and Mineral Society. Melvin volunteered at FCDC and the Depot where he could be found every Monday. He loved traveling with his wife, going to auctions, being outside and landscaping with rocks, watching sunsets and most of all, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, 2019 at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home, 117 W. Waterford St., Wakarusa and one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019 at Holdeman Mennonite Church, 65723 CR 1, Wakarusa. Goering, Verna Mae Kaufman, 103, of Moundridge, McPherson Co., KS died March 3, 2019 at Pine Village, Moundridge, McPherson Co., KS from congestive heart failure.
She was born November 9, 1915 in McPherson Co., KS to Joseph P. [died December 8, 1956] and Maria Rose (Flickner) [died April 5, 1982] Kaufman.
On August 23, 1940 at Eden Mennonite Church, Moundridge, KS, she was married to Erwin C. Goering, who was born September 13, 1913 and died July 4, 1995.
Surviving are children, Mary Jo (Doyle) Preheim; and LaDeen (Rodney) Frey; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a brother, Roland "Bus" Kaufman, 101.
Her siblings, Bertha Schrag; Elma Goering; Linda Gican; Edna Wedel; Evelyn Goering; Reed Kaufman; and Alan Dale Kaufman preceded her in death.

Gonzalez, H. Theda Bitler, 81, of Stevens, PA died May 21, 2019 at the same place. She was born February 14, 1938 at Terre Hill, PA to Henry and Jeanette (McGown) Bitler. She was married to Luis A. Gonzelez, who died May 30, 2008.
Surviving are children, Luis R. Gonzalez; Bonita L., married to Luis B. Rosa; Luis A., Jr., married to Karen (Sensenig) Gonzalez; Michael A. Gonzalez; Brenda L., married to Gerald Sensenig; Juanita M., married to Jeffrey Kreider; Teresa M. Breasette; and Maria L., married to Jonathan Boyd; 21 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Anna Habecker, Dorothy Messner, Jeannette Risser, and Debra "Debbie" Kohl.
A brother, Henry Bitler, Jr. and a sister, Margaret Bitler preceded her in death.
She was a member of Forest Hills Mennonite Church where she joyfully served in the kitchen. She was also dedicated to her family, helped many people in need, took in students from the Teen Challenge program, enjoyed many road trips to Southern BBQ's, and was an excellent cook who fed all who were hungry.

He was born November 30, 1949 at Harrisonburg, Rockingham Rockingham Co., VA to Emory W. and Thelma (Blosser) Good.
Thelma was born September 26, 1927 and died August 26, 2018.
On September 8, 1973 at Blooming Glen, Bucks Co., PA he was married to Diane Lynn Clemmer, who was born July 11, 1953 and survives.
Surviving are children, Sondra Alderfer and husband Bradley; Stephanie Rittenhouse and husband Brandon; and Sheldon Good and wife Jennifer Svetlik; four grandchildren, a sister, Joyce Burkholder and husband Rodney; and a brother, Ray Good and wife Sandi.

Good, Gabriel DeLyn, died a few hours after birth on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at UPMC Pinnacle Lititz. He was the son of Delton M. and Lynelle Faye Musser Good of Mohnton.

Good, Grace Bower, 92, of Souderton, Montgomery Co., PA died March 7, 2019 at the same place. She was born May 26, 1926 at Hatfield, Montgomery Co., PA to Aaron L. and Ella Mae (Souder) Bower. On March 26, 1955 she was married to Lawrence Good who was born November 5, 1924 and died October 26, 2010.
Surviving are two sons, Larry (and Denise "Dee Dee") and Philip (and Deborah); five grandchildren, great-grandchildren.

Kathryn (Ecenroad) Good, 92, of Stevens, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Ephrata Manor.
She was born in Denver to the late William and Minnie (Holsinger) Ecenroad and was the wife of Lester T. Good with whom she would have celebrated 69 years of marriage on February 4th.
She was a faithful member of Martindale Mennonite Church and a member of sewing circle. She made many quilts for family. Starting in her early years through the 80's, she taught Sunday School and Bible school.
Kathryn was a homemaker. She was an avid flower and vegetable gardener. She enjoyed playing the organ, piano and guitar. She loved to go on walks, visiting the cabin and cooking for friends, family and grandchildren. She also loved going for drives with Lester and traveling the western states and Canadian Rockies. In her retirement years she took many bus trips with the 40/60 group and enjoyed playing miniature golf.
In addition to her husband, Kathryn is survived by four sons, Harold (Lois) Good, Jay (Christine) Good, Gerald (Cindy) Good, Ray (Patti) Good; eleven grandchildren, Michael (Kara) Good, Keith (Amy) Good, Melissa (Kyle) Hershey, Chasity (Isai) Saenz, Vanessa (Tim) Mutchler, Daniel Good, Trevor (Lauren) Good, Alana Good, Austin Good, Andre Good, Kayla Good; 15 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Anna (the late Harvey) Hahn, Arlene (Raymond) Zimmerman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Ecenroad.

Good, Mark N., 85, of Lititz, passed away at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy, on Sunday, December 8, 2019, following a brief illness.
He was the husband of Louella W. (Sauder) Good. Born in Ephrata, he was the son of the late Edward S. and Frances M. (Nolt) Good.
Mark was a retired farmer and a member of Lime Rock Mennonite Church, Lititz. Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Dorothy, wife of James E. Witmer of Newmanstown, Rhoda, wife of Jay C. Burkholder of Leola, Elaine, wife of E. Merle Nolt of Ephrata; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Moses, husband of Elizabeth Good of Mount Joy, Jonas, husband of Grace Good of Elizabethtown; a sister, Katie Garman of Stevens and three sisters-in-law, Anna Good of Rutledge, MO, Esther Good of Myerstown and Vera Martin of Lititz.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Marian M. (Sensenig) Good; a stillborn son; seven brothers, Lloyd, Allen, Luke, Ivan, Willis, Jacob, and Edward and a sister, Anna Martin.

Martha M. Good, 90, of Ephrata, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019, at Lincoln Christian Home.
She was born in West Earl Twp., to the late Frank B. and Ada (Martin) Hoover and was the wife of the late Luke N. Good who passed away in 2015.
She was a member of Lime Rock Mennonite Church, Lititz. Martha was a homemaker.
Martha is survived by six children: Raymond H., husband of Dorothy E. (Seibel) Good, of Lititz, Arlene H., wife of Irvin N. Zimmerman of Savannah, NY, Ervin H., husband of Joyce (Quackenbos) Good, of Lititz, Lois H., wife of Raymond S. Hurst of, Denver, Lorraine H., wife of Wilmer S. Reiff, of Annville, Kathryn H., wife of Harlan W. Hoover, of Fleetwood; 25 grandchildren; 119 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Alma M. Burkholder of New Holland.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Erla S. (Reiff) Good and a brother, Warren M. Hoover.

Olive Pearl Snider Good, 99, of St. Jacobs, Ontario died March 25, 2019 at Elmira, Waterloo County, Ontario. She was born May 20, 1919 at Woolwich Township, Waterloo County, Ontario to Elias and Sarah (Bechtel) Snider. On June 20, 1946 she was married at St. Jacobs, Waterloo County, Ontario to Raymond Good, who was born January 17, 1919 and died October 14, 2009.
Surviving are children, Sandra Sittler, Gary Sittler (Spouse) deceased; and Sheri Brubacher and Dennis Brubacher (spouse);
three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Naomi Sauder and Alice Brubacher.
A daughter Mary in infancy, and siblings, Edna (Lincoln) Witmer, Rheta (Homer) Witmer, Elva (David) Horst, and Bretton (Luella) Snider preceded her in death.

Good, Paul Stoner
January 20, 1920 - November 24, 2019
Paul Stoner Good, 99, of Harrisonburg, died peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019, at the Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community (VMRC), surrounded by family members. He had been a resident of VMRC for 11 years.
Mr. Good was born on Jan. 20, 1920, in Elizabethtown, Pennslyvania and was a son of the late Clayton and Dora Good. He was also preceded in death by one brother and six sisters.
Paul is survived by five children, Edwin (Esther) Good, Harrisonburg, Carolyn (Allen) Roth, Brooklyn, N.Y., Linden (Charlene) Good, Mechanicsburg, Ohio, Duane (Carolyn) Good, Harrisonburg, Roland (Leanna) Good, Eureka, Nev.; fourteen grandchildren, and 40 great-grandchildren.
During World War II, he served in alternative service at Western State Hospital in Staunton. During that time, he met and married the former Elizabeth Rhodes on Feb. 14, 1946. She preceded him in death on March 30, 2009. After the war, he served with Mennonite Central Committee in relief efforts in Belgium and Holland.
Paul was ordained to pastoral ministry by the Virginia Mennonite Conference in 1955. After serving a few years at Zion Hill and Gospel Hill Mennonite churches, he accepted a call in 1959 to plant a new church in Boyer, West Virginia. He was beloved by all those who knew him in Pocahontas County, where he ministered for 27 years at Brush Run (now Boyer Hill) Mennonite Church, before returning to the Shenandoah Valley in retirement.
The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 30, 2019, from 4 until 6 p.m. at the McMullen Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Peake Mennonite Church, with Pastors Jay Rohrer and Elam Heatwole officiating.
Burial will follow at Weavers Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Paul was not a flower kind of man. In lieu of flowers, the family requests all memorial contributions be made to VMRC, C/O The Good Samaritan Fund, 1491 Virginia Ave., Harrisonburg, VA 22802. Graybill, Mary E. Blank, age 87 of Kinzers, passed away on August 14, 2019, at home. Born in Gap, she was the daughter of the late S. Earl Sr. and Florence Kauffman Blank. She was the wife of the late Elvin P. Graybill who died September 30, 2012. Mary was a member of Simmontown Mennonite Church, Gap.

Grieser, Dwight E., 75, of Goshen died unexpectedly Monday, Feb. 25, 2019 at Goshen Hospital. A long time resident of Goshen, he was born July 10, 1943, in Fort Wayne to Cletus Grieser and Luella (Stucky) Rupp.
Surviving is his wife of 54 years, Carol S. Hartzler. Also surviving are two children, Stephanie (Scott) Braming, Valparaiso and Matthew (Anna) Grieser, New Castle; seven grandchildren, Benjamin, Nicholas, William, Ryan and Zach Grieser and Madeline and Lily Braming; two sisters, Rosalyn (Roger) Ledyard, Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Lynette Slaubaugh, Harrisonburg, Virginia and three brothers, Merlin (Mary) Grieser, Lansdale, Pennsylvania, Curtis (Connie) Grieser, Pueblo, Colorado and Don (Sena) Grieser, Pine Hill, New Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bernard Grieser.
Mr. Grieser began his teaching career in the Concord Community Schools and later was a Fairfield Community School administrator. More recently, he worked as an independent business consultant.
He was a member of the Indiana Retired Teachers’ Association, a charter volunteer for Ryan’s Place and served as Treasurer for the Chicago Mennonite Learning Center Board. He also served on the school board of the Goshen Community Schools. He was a big IU fan, enjoyed spending time with his family, particularly his grandchildren, and welcomed many as an usher at church.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 17, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. in the Koinonia Room at College Mennonite Church, where a Monday memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Pastor Ron Kennel will officiate.

Groff, Eva S. Hurst, 91, entered her eternal rest on August 21,2019 at Landis Homes, Lititz, PA. Born in Clay Twp., Ephrata, she was the daughter of the late Jacob M. and Lydia Ann (Sensenig) Hurst. She was the wife of the late Aaron R. Groff. They were blessed to share 60 years of married life. He preceded her in death on August 23, 2010.
Eva and her husband had been dairy farmers for many years on the Pequea Silver Mine Farm, where they raised their six children. Her hobbies included sewing, quilting, gardening, singing and playing the piano. Spending time with her family brought her much joy. Eva's love of cooking was a blessing as she loved to entertain. As a member of the Friendship Force of Lancaster County, she enjoyed traveling to other countries and hosting visitors in their home. In her later years she operated a bed and breakfast.
Eva was a member of New Danville Mennonite Church where she helped start the weekly SMILE program, a program for young mothers in the community. Her friends in the "Hearts of Love" Sunday school class were a special part of her life.
Eva is survived by three sons, James (Kathy) Groff, John (Anna) Groff, David Groff; three daughters, Miriam (Claude) Miller, Lydia (late Roy) Beck, Lois (Les) Hershey; 14 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mabel Weaver. She was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Juliana Rose Hershey; five brothers, Clarence, John, Noah, Paul and Raymond Hurst; and one sister, Arlene High.
A viewing will take place on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from 3-4 PM, followed by the Celebration of Eva's Life service at 4 PM at New Danville Mennonite Church. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery followed by a fellowship meal

Cecil Emory Grove, 80, of Harrisonburg, [VA] passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019, at the Sentara RMH Medical Center.
Mr. Grove was born on May 19, 1939, in Lyndhurst, and was a son of the late Timothy Earl and Geneva Elizabeth (Rowe) Grove. Cecil retired from Henrico County Schools, where he did research planning and also worked for the City of Richmond as a data processor. In his retirement, Cecil volunteered with Book Savers and VMRC, and participated in several men’s Bible study groups. He was a member of Ridgeway Mennonite Church.
On June 5, 1965, he married the former Doris Mast, who survives.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Grove is survived by his children, Andy Grove and wife, Tina, of Dickerson, Md., and Diann Beach and husband, Jeremy, of Harrisonburg; siblings, Gene Grove of Lyndhurst, Kenneth Grove of Waynesboro, Carol Wheeler of Waynesboro, Sharon Sweet of Moneta, and Billy Grove of Asheville, N.C.; grandchildren, Dylan Grove, Brittany Grove, Blair Grove, Austin Grove, Simon Beach, and Nolan Beach, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, at 3 p.m. at Zion Mennonite Church, with Ben Risser officiating. The family will receive friends immediately preceding the service, from 1 to 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Cecil’s honor to Highland Retreat Camp, 14783 Upper Highland Drive, Bergton, VA 22811; or to the Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center, 9275 Barnes Road, Toano, VA 23168.

Guengerich, Allie Luella Davison, 95, of Harrisonburg, VA died April 08, 2019 at VA Mennonite Retirement Center, Warsack House, Harrisonburg, VA. She was born January 23, 1924 at Wayland, Washington Co., IA to Homer and Addie (Neff) Davison.
On February 27, 1943 at the Palmer House, Chicago, IL by President of Goshen College, Sanford Yoder, she was married to Lester Glen (known as L. Glen) Guengerich, who was born April 14, 1909 and died January 24, 2005. They lived in Wellman and Kalona, IA area all of their married life until 1999 when they moved to Harrisonburg, VA
Surviving are children, Lowell (Susan) Guengerich, Harrisonburg, VA; Elaine (Verlin) Miller, Goshen, IN; Galen (Bev) Guengerich, Schwenksville, PA; Annette (Eugene) Ritter, Harrisonburg, VA; and Audrey (Corydon) Baylor, Richmond, VA; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; a brother, Jim Davison, Washington, IA; and a sister, Phyllis Graber, Wayland, IA.
Brothers, Dale, Arthur, Kenneth, and Dean Davison and sisters, Dorothy Wagner and Erma Alliman preceded her in death.
Two memorial services were held: April 13, 2019 at VMRC, Strite Auditorium, Harrisonburg, VA and April 16, 2019 at East Union Mennonite Church, Kalona, Washington Co., IA. Burial in East Union Mennonite cemetery.
